Graphic Design Forum -This is a link to an excellent site- About Graphic Design, however there is a lot of advertising that you have to try and ignore. A lot of well informed professionals are willing to share their knowledge if you post a question (you will have to register to do this), or just have a browse through other postings.

Creative Latitude -This is a link to a wonderful site run by professional graphic designers as a resource for all. Take a good look round, some excellent articles, book recommendations, loads of links to other good sites etc etc. Mostly American based by the looks of it.
